I was thinking oh foxes coyotes dogs they are all pretty much the same…. until they move or you see them close like this and then the wild beauty overwhelms. Thank you fox for sitting there so we could see you. That little dead bunny Sticky caught was taken today by a Magpie! I had it in an Altoids box open on top of my trailer in the last stage of becoming a mummy and a Magpie flew up and took it in beak and flew off. Now the bunny will become a part of the Magpie as it was meant to.
Foxes. I have a little fox now that I see quite a bit as it visits the chickens. Three times yesterday the fox returned. I would tell him ( her) to go away and slowly he would take off looking over his shoulder as if to say: “I'll be back”. I dragged metal all around the sides of the pen yesterday as a deterrent. While protecting my birds, I do relish my new relationship with Reynard. ( Did you know there are connections between Reynard, the color red, and the Lindow Man?
Connections The Lindow man had remnants of red hair. His discoverers name him Reynard; meaning Red and Fox. ( or Renard as our friend above). He also had burnt meal in his stomach; most likely a sacrificial meal. There are branches with leaves in the chicken pen. They have eaten all of the lower leaves. They now do these little jumps, straight up in the air , in order to grab the upper leaves. It is quite comical!
Oh Lynette I wish I could see the chickens jump! It snowed here this morning a little, better than rain. And Renard. You are not curled up asleep anymore. I love your profile!

How great to be able to get this photo. His eyes look like he may be a relative of mine :)
He is a relative of Gen’s. Wait ‘till she sees this. Stunning!
And those two amazing dishes over the head.

That's a cool fox, Farland. I saw a grey fox once by headlight and talked to him for a while before he ran off with some dogs.
Reminds me a little of trying to pix the chipmunks. Chippy stayed still for quite a while. :)

Tell me about the connection!
Alert, yet relaxed. Your fox seems quite at home, but still ready for anything.
The word 'potential' comes to mind when I look at it.
Thanks, Farland
