When were you last completely dependent on someone?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 21, 2009:
I think I am dependent on everyone in the whole world and everything in the whole world.
And maybe even beyond that.
And maybe even beyond that.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday…. yes we need each other…plus the other realm too.
Do you know what’s cool? I view you as an example of a very independent, self-reliant person, andin our society wethink to be that way, one has to be “free” of our “dependence” on others. As I get older, I am coming to realize that true “dependence”does not denoteneediness or weakness, rather it is recognizing that we are all drops of water in the Same Ocean. I can believe I am an ocean onto myself, but all I have to do is look around me and see it isn’t so.
