How do you know when you're on the right path?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for February 15, 2009:
I think there is no such thing there is only the path you are on or maybe no path in front only the one you have left behind and if you are on a river then you leave not even a bent twig that you passed at all.

this took me so long to get, and I lose sight of it so easily. there is only the path and your judgments of whether it is good or bad. shoot, i guess i’ll have to edit my profile page again … oh well, it’s a good metaphor anyway.
