They are kind to eachother it is a relationship of compassion and there is such caring and sharing taking turns in who gets to lead maybe depending on who feels more willing. I think there were times in my life when one woud rule over the other or be mean spirited but most of the time they were pals and there is a lot of joking that goes on too.

I don’t remember the telling of jokes I have never been able to remember the funny parts to re tell It was the playing jokes on each other that still happens maybe even more and more often.

Have you read Farley Mowat’s book “Owls in the Family” There is a delightful description of the dressing of their two Great Horned Owls in doll clothes for a pet parade in  Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Oh wait! Dawn has that Coyote book she has been reading it first while I am too busy yet. Go to one of those used book stores in Union Square and see if they have “Owls in the Family” it is a one nighter.
